The state of North Carolina has mandated that all 10th graders take the PLAN test as part of the new school accountability model. Cuthbertson High School’s 2011/2012 PLAN Score Reports are in. Each student received a copy of their PLAN Score Report and a booklet titled ‘Using your PLAN Results. The PLAN Score Report contains a lot of information about your child’s skills, interest, plans and goals. You can use this information to make sure your child’s remaining high school courses are the best ones possible to prepare him or her for college and to help consider options for life after high school. Use the booklet, along with your PLAN Score Report, to get a better sense of your child’s strengths and weaknesses in four subject areas: English, math, reading and science. This guide will help you understand the information on the PLAN Score Report and how it can help your child. Please visit www.planstudent.org for detailed information on using the PLAN Score Report.

If you should have questions or concerns, in regards to the PLAN assessments please contact, your child’s Guidance Counselor.
